KI DIVINI YO ? Une attente comblée
Partant d’une idée de Philippe Pilotin qui désirait réunir un orchestre formé d’anciennes gloire de la chanson caribéenne, Mitch Zéline créa le nom et le concept « Ki divini yo » tel que le public a pu le découvrir le dimanche 18 mars 2007 à la Bourse du Travail de Saint-Denis. A la question posée « Ki divini yo » à savoir : « Que sont-ils devenus ? », nos artistes, nos grands sportifs, nos géants et autres Dieux du stade de l’époque ont satisfaits la curiosité légitime du nombreux public qui s’était déplacé.
Ils étaient tous là : Luc Sonor (Le foot désormais au micro), Guy Francisque jamais en manque de souffle, Cyril Aventurin (Monsieur « c’est du bidon » Steel band), Roland Pierre-Charles (l’homme aux doigts magiques), l’explosif King Daddy Yod (Il ne faut pas taper la doudou), Gordon Henderson («Rosita ») figure emblématique de notre Caraïbe, Josy Mass (toute la Guyane en quelques notes), Raphaël Zachille (toute une histoire…), l’incontournable Vincent Ozier-Lafontaine, la belle et gracieuse Michelle Maillet, Serge Lerus (culturiste et photographe), Chantale Nelson (championne du muscle "fabrication maison" ), la reine Lola Martin bien en voix, Rubens Gaverna et son trépident harmonica, Roselyne Quémin et son saxophone magique, Tinou Lavital l’homme tout feu tout flamme, le toujours très classe Jacques De Kéra et « Océan Konpa » la jeune et fougueuse génération Konpa drivée par Onal.
Philippe Pilotin permit à ce chaleureux public de voyager à travers les carrières des artistes présents grâce à son exposition représentant un véritable trésor.
La première édition du « Ki divini yo » nous a démontré qu’il fallait plus que jamais prendre soin de nos anciens et avoir du respect pour l’héritage légué.

Where have they been ?
The idea is the brain child of Philippe Pilotin who wished to put together an orchestra composed of former stars of Caribbean music, Mitch Zeline found the name “Ki divini yo” (Creole for What have become of them?) then on Sunday March 18, 2007 it was a reality at the Bourse de Travail auditorium of Saint Denis. The question asked, “What have they become?”, our artistes, sports men and women, our former athletes satisfied the curiosity of the many persons who were present.
They were all there! Luc Sonor former footballer now sports broadcaster, Guy Francisque still beaming, Cyril Aventurin the steelband comedian, Roland Pierre Charles with his magic fingers, the explosive King Daddy Yod of “il faut pas taper la doudou” fame, Gordon Henderson emblematic figure of Caribbean music, Josy Masse presenting all of Guyane with a single note, Rapahel Zachille a history, the unavoidable Vincent Ozier6Lafontaine, the beautiful and gracefull Michelle Maillet, Serge Lerus world famous body builder and photographer, Chantal Nelson former body building champion, the great voice Queen Lola Martin, the harmonica of Rubens Gaverna, the magic sax of Roselyne Quémin, the flaming Tinou Lavital, the classy Jacques de Kéra and the band “Ocean Konpa” headed by Onal.
